Music Ministry
Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world. - Martin Luther
For Luther, music was a practical art closely tied to theology,
to be used in the praise of God and in the proclamation
of the Gospel.
In keeping with Luther’s philosophy the
Mission of the Music Ministry at Grace is to:

Worship God
through liturgy, psalms,
choral and instrumental anthems,
and traditional and contemporary hymnody.
Rejoice
and strive to bring our very best
to worship each Sunday,
Serve
by sharing God’s love through music each Sunday and
carrying the message of God’s love through music
beyond the church walls.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a very dedicated, talented group of musicians of all ages who willingly and joyfully share their God given gifts as they lead the 10:00 a.m. worship with liturgy, hymns, and anthems on Sunday mornings and special services, offer special music at Easter and Christmas, and sometimes we offer our music in the community for others to enjoy! Rehearsals are usually on Wednesday evenings.
The Ringers of Grace
The Ringers of Grace are a dedicated bunch of musicians who joyfully "ring as one" on three octaves of handbells. They perform about once a month at the 10:00 service and for special occasions. Rehearsals are usually Sunday after worship. New members are welcome to join or just visit at any time.

Annual Christmas Cantata
Each year our ensembles join with a chamber orchestra comprised of musicians from the local community to lead the congregation in a wonderful Christmas Cantata Worship Service. For information about our Cantata or "anything music"at Grace, please contact Libby Brown or our church office!
