What to Expect
How should I dress?
-
Dress at Grace is casual, so come as you are to worship with us!
Can I take communion?
-
Anyone who desires to receive Christ through the healing power of his body and blood is welcome at the table of Grace to receive communion.
What is worship like?
-
Worship at Grace is liturgical, meaning that it follows a pattern that remains the same from week to week. We gather as the Body of Christ, we hear and respond to God's Word, we share a meal in Holy Communion, and we are sent as disciples into the world. Worship also involves confession and forgiveness, communal prayer, and lots of singing. The Lutheran church has a rich tradition of hymnody and liturgical singing, and here at Grace we draw from a wide variety of styles in our music.
Will my kids be welcome in worship?
-
Have kids? That's great! We especially welcome and encourage families with young children to join us for worship. Quiet bags/activity bags are available with the ushers. Sunday School is held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is available during Sunday School and worship for children up to age 4.
*Due to changes of in-person operations at Grace, worship is available online and in-person. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. for in-person services. To join us on Sunday mornings digitally follow us on our YouTube channel. Faith Formation also continues digitally, a LIVE ZOOM link is available each week for a lively discussion at 8:30a.m. on Sunday mornings. For more information about our digital gatherings or our in-person worship, please join our mailing list or contact the Grace Office.
