What to Expect
How should I dress?
-
Casual! Come as you are to worship!
Can I take communion?
-
Yes! All are welcome to receive communion!
What is worship like?
-
Faithful! Worship at Grace is liturgical, meaning that it follows a pattern that remains the same from week to week. We Gather as the Body of Christ, to hear and respond to God's Word, to share a Meal in Holy Communion, and we are Sent as disciples into the world. Worship also involves confession and forgiveness, communal prayer, and lots of singing. The Lutheran church has a rich tradition of hymnody and liturgical singing. Here at Grace, we draw from a wide variety of styles in our music.
Will my kids be welcome in worship?
-
Absolutely! We welcome and encourage families with young children to join us for worship. Activity bags are available in the narthex. Sunday School and Nursery Care are offered concurrently with Sunday morning worship. Nursery care is available during Sunday School and worship for children up to age 4.
Grace Lutheran offers worship both in person and onine on Sundays. In-person worship begins at 10:00 a.m. To join us digitally, follow us on our YouTube channel. Each new online service is accessible by 8:00 a.m.
Faith Formation is also available in person or online. Join us in the church parlor or live via ZOOM each week for a lively discussion at 8:30a.m. on Sunday mornings. For more information about our digital gatherings or our in-person worship, please join our mailing list or contact the Grace Office.
