Grace Capital Campaign 11x17-01-01.png

We are asking for the congregation’s support to complete a series of strategic projects that will enable our mission to “Share God’s Love so that ALL are served and supported” and put us in a strong position to continue to live out our mission well into God’s future.

In 2020, the congregation answered the call to pay off the remaining mortgage of the Councill Property which was purchased in 2007. Since then, the Church Council has been leading efforts to catch up and update all of the church’s facilities. We painted and fixed exterior moldings, painted the interior of the building, added keypads and exerior lights, created a new and, now heavily used, Youth Room, updated all of the electrical system at the Councill House, mitigated mold and updated the plumbing in the Grace place, replaced the aging furnaces and added air conditioning to the rest of the main building, and upgraded and rewired the sound system in the Sanctuary. All of these projects were completed without needing to run any special capital appeals!

In 1968, the congregation was gifted 200+ acres of property from the Moretz family with the hope that the congregation would utilize the sale of timber periodically to support our mission. This was done in 1986 in support of the building of our beautiful sanctuary! After years of prayerful deliberation and research, we decided as a congregation in 2025 that the best way for this estate gift to empower our mission was to sell it. We closed on the sale of the property right at the end of the year.

This amazing, generous gift was so inspiring to the Church Council that we thought it might be an opportunity to invite the congregation to a generous response of our own. Over the past several years we have been developing strategic plans to enhance our shared ministry spaces in ways that enable us to best serve and support our community today and into the future. The Council has developed a series of projects that each in their own way help us to strengthen our foundation for living out our mission more fully today and put us in a stronger position to share God’s love with our community for generations to come!
