Community Action
“Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of my brothers, you have done it to me.“ Matthew 25:40
This familiar Bible verse is the foundation of much of the mission work done by members of Grace spearheaded by the Community Action Team.
What we do:
The Community Action Team supports a number of efforts to care for the Watauga community needs. Our budget supports many nonprofits, and adpats as needs change.

Some of our regular community partners are WeCan (Watauga Crisis Area Network), Hospitality House, the Health and Hunger Coalition, High Country Caregivers, and Watauga Habitat to name a few.
In addition to financially supporting these agencies, we also provide specific items for a variety of groups, as well as sharing our meeting spaces and share their current need drives and services.

As part of the Serving Committees of Grace, several of our members partner with Grace Builders by working the woodlot and football Saturday parking lot fundraisers.
